Many of you have been enjoying our weekly Monday gigs at The Traverse, and it’s been great to finally put on some regular public concerts. Spreading our wings a little further we have been asked to programme some of the music for Tradfest, Edinburgh’s annual celebration of traditional arts and culture.

It’s been a total pleasure to select some of our favourite bands, and some that come very highly recommended. So there will be some names that you easily recognise – Nuala Kennedy and Southern Tenant Folk Union, for example, and some that are new to us, such as Grammy winner Mollie O’Brien.

The Tradfest crew have also been kind enough to take a couple of our other gigs under their promotional wing – Cahalen Morrison and Eli West who’ll be at The Pleasance on Tuesday 28 April and Dean Owens and the Whisky Hearts Band at the Traverse on Monday 4 May.
