We’ve done it!

We’ve done it!

We were delighted to hear from our lawyers that charity status has been awarded to The Soundhouse Organisation, and that we should receive official confirmation from the charity regulator OSCR very soon. This means that we can start fundraising in earnest in the new year.

Thanks very much to our trustees who worked hard with us on our constitution and have all agreed to be the governing body of this new entity. Check them out above. From left to right (back row): Heather Macleod, Olaf Furniss, Tim Matthew, Martin Kershaw, Aidan O’Rourke, and (front row): David Bann, Caroline Bond, Su-a Lee, Douglas Robertson and Sue Wilson.

Thanks are also due to our lawyers Lauren Scott and Elizabeth Robertson of Morton Fraser for all their hard work drawing up our constitution, drafting our application for charity status, and fielding all questions from OSCR.
