When you were a child what did you want to be?
Involved.

What would you tell your 16-year-old self now?
Nothing, I wouldn’t listen.

What are the best and worst things about being a musician?
Freedom and cashflow.

What was your favourite ever gig to play?
Treacherous Orchestra – Main Stage, Cambridge Folk Festival.

What was your favourite ever gig as an audience member?
No idea. Lots in mind. Metallica – Milton Keynes Bowl. John Martyn solo in Chester.

Who would play you in Salt House: the movie?
Chuck Norris.

If you could build a fantasy band who would you include (and you can’t choose anyone in your current line-up)?
Frodo. Ron Weasley and the Skeksys.

What non-musical talent do you have that might surprise people?
I have lawnmower skills.

Why have you decided to play The Soundhouse benefit gig?
Because I can help and it’s a good cause.
